Acceptable Use Policy
Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel
This document was drafted in-house and has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer. It is published so it can be read and corrected before launch. Do not treat it as settled legal advice, and do not submit it to a store as final without that review.
In short
What you may not do with Daily+, how we handle reports about shared content, and what happens when a rule is broken. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
On this page
1. The principle
Most of Daily+ is private to you. The rules below matter where Daily+ is shared — a household, the feed, a challenge — and where the service itself has to be protected so it keeps working for everyone.
2. What is not allowed
You must not:
- Use Daily+ for anything unlawful, or to help anyone else do so.
- Post or share content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or that targets someone because of who they are.
- Post content that promotes self-harm, suicide, disordered eating, extreme restriction, or unsafe use of substances — including "goal" content framed as motivation.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, including other people’s photographs or medical information.
- Present Daily+ output as medical, clinical or professional advice to others.
- Attempt to gain access to data that is not yours, probe or circumvent authentication, access controls or entitlement checks, or tamper with another user’s content.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or access the API by automated means outside the app, or resell access to Daily+.
- Interfere with the service: denial-of-service, rate-limit evasion, or deliberately submitting content designed to cause faults.
- Abuse the AI features: attempting to extract system instructions, generate content that violates this policy, or use them to process other people’s data without their knowledge.
3. Health content and vulnerable users
Daily+ deals with weight, food and training, which are subjects where content can cause real harm. We treat pro-eating-disorder content as a hard prohibition, not a moderation judgement call, and we design the product to avoid amplifying it — the app does not rank or recommend other people’s bodies, and guidance surfaces carry a clear "not medical advice" note.
If you are struggling with your relationship with food, exercise or your body, please speak to a qualified professional. Daily+ is not a treatment tool and we will not pretend otherwise.
4. Reporting a problem
You can report content or a user from the item itself in the app. You can also write to support@dailyplus.app with a description and, if possible, a screenshot.
We aim to acknowledge reports within 3 business days and to act on clear violations within 7. Content that presents an immediate risk to someone is handled as a priority. You can also block a user, and leave a household, at any time — those take effect immediately and do not depend on us.
5. What we do about violations
Depending on severity and history we may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account, or terminate it. We aim to warn first where the breach is minor and the intent looks accidental.
If we act against your account we will tell you what rule was applied and how to appeal. Appeals go to support@dailyplus.app and are reviewed by a person, not automatically. We reverse enforcement that turns out to have been wrong.
We may report content to law enforcement where the law requires it or where someone is at risk of serious harm.
6. Security research
Good-faith security research is welcome and is not a breach of this policy when it follows our vulnerability disclosure policy. Testing that degrades the service for others, or that accesses real users’ data, is not good-faith research and is not covered.
